All would have been fine within a free trial period, but I've now paid for something I don't want. The score wasn't at all helpful, as it was badly written, missing key notes of the piece and not emphasising the melody correctly. And any attempt to get the money back will result in the ridiculous replies that appear here which effectively state 'we have made up some rules about how much you can get back' I signed up for the free trial to download one score, to see if it was any good. As soon as you click to complete the so called "free" part, the payment details you have given - on the assumption they will be used once the free trial period is ended - will be used IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the "free trial period". I have every single email from Musescore to prove that.ĭO NOT USE this website. However, they charged me additionally for PRO, something that I did NOT authorize, request, start or even try. I WAS charged for a subscription that I didn't "start." I only requested/started and paid for LEARN. Musescore responded below, and that is exactly my point. ![]() I am working on getting the unauthorized charge refunded. There are other offerings from companies that are more ethical. I wouldn't recommend trying it, primarily because dishonest practices like this that scam people out of additional money shouldn't be tolerated in this age of 100% online transactions. I reached out for a refund but it was declined per their "gotcha" clause. ? WTH? I only signed up for the 1 thing that I tried, and in good faith I purchased it! But suddenly they were like "oh, you tried 2 products." Again, ? because I had not. When reviewing my subsequent credit card statement, Musescore charged me an ADDITIONAL FULL-PRICE AMOUNT for an additional part of their offering. I tried Musescore and liked it! I actually purchased it through an offer that came to my email during the trial period. ![]() All payments in iOS are handled by Apple iTunes, so you should directly send your refund request to Apple Support. If you are not interested in keeping the subscription, please unsubscribe via your account settings or contact our support team with a cancelation request at Bear in mind that all the obligations have been fulfilled on our part. As for your yearly subscription, according to the AppStore policy, we are not able to cancel or refund Apple iTunes subscriptions. Please note that for monthly subscriptions, you may cancel your monthly subscription anytime during the month however, you will not receive a refund for the current month’s subscription ( which will remain active for the remainder of that month’s subscription term ) and your payment method will not be charged for any subsequent monthly billing periods as a courtesy to you we will convert your account to a free account.
